Rum Point

RRum Point is made up of 14 single family building lots, half of which are bayfront, and located at the entrance to Brigantine, New Jersey. The equitable owner, Rockwell Brigantine, LLC, plans to fully improve and finish the lots by Spring 2024. After completing the project, the lots will be open for sale to builders and third-party owners. This project is one of few Jersey waterfront properties in development, and will be a prime residential location once construction of the homes is finished.

The property at Rum Point is the last sizable piece of developable land on the island, and boasts an interesting history filled with pirates and rum runners of the Prohibition era. In the more recent past, the land has been used as an unofficial landfill site, with construction debris from the old Brigantine Bridge teardown found scattered or buried throughout the property. That debris will be cleared as part of improvement and finishing before construction begins.
